Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Project Control Officer- RAID/Banking. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee project monitoring and control activities, ensuring successful delivery within a complex and evolving landscape. The role involves managing schedules, financial forecasts, risk logs, and stakeholder communications, all while supporting project governance and compliance. Responsibilities
- Manage RAID logs by capturing, updating, and maintaining the consistency and accuracy of risks, actions, issues, and decisions.
- Support the preparation and consolidation of project reports, including weekly status updates, executive summaries, and ad hoc requests.
- Track and coordinate interdependencies across multiple project workstreams, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
- Assist in financial management activities, including consolidating monthly cost forecasts, tracking actual expenditures, and analyzing variances.
- Maintain project change control records by updating PCR lists and supporting related activities.
- Organize, track, and manage project artifacts to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with documentation standards.
- Support schedule management by tracking deliverables, milestones, and key tasks, escalating slippages for prompt resolution.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks by keeping RAID logs current and relevant.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and providing clear status updates.
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience with project management methodologies such as PDLC, Agile, and Hybrid approaches.
- Strong expertise in project monitoring and control activities, including schedule management, reporting, RAID management, and financial oversight.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, and SharePoint.
- Excellent command of MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to work independently and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to navigate ambiguity.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in banking or financial services industries.
- Past experience with regulatory reporting or financial compliance.
- Familiarity with advanced reporting tools and techniques.
- Prior experience in a hybrid or onsite work environment within a corporate setting.
