Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior WebFocus Developer- SQL/Informatica and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical reporting and data integration efforts within a dynamic banking environment. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining WebFocus reports, supporting SQL Server databases, and assisting with data integration processes, all within a collaborative team aimed at enhancing management and operational reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain WebFocus reports, dashboards, and source code to meet business reporting requirements.
- Administer ReportCaster schedules for timely distribution of reports and manage report automation processes.
- Support and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, focusing on performance tuning, indexing, and data integrity.
- Assist in managing Windows Server technologies, including services, schedulers, permissions, and access controls.
- Support quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) environments, documenting changes and acceptance criteria related to technology and business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot data issues, implement performance improvements, and ensure report accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with data integration workflows using Informatica, ensuring seamless data movement across systems and environments.
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in WebFocus development and ReportCaster administration.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning and indexing strategies.
- Hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments and related technologies.
- Proven background in financial or management reporting, with a focus on batch processing and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Informatica, Essbase, PeopleSoft EPM, or DB2/UDB.
- Knowledge of other data integration or business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with cloud-based reporting or data platforms.
