Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and execution of operational initiatives within the procurement function to deliver a superior stakeholder experience.
- Manage routine procurement tasks such as processing service requests, transactions, and inquiries within established service level agreements.
- Provide subject matter expertise on procurement operations, offering solutions and recommendations aligned with business needs.
- Assist in developing strategic plans and operational programs, including monitoring performance metrics and addressing any issues that arise.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Analyze data, generate reports and dashboards, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
- Support change management initiatives, including communication, training development, and process adaptation to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in designing and enhancing core business processes, including identifying business needs and developing tools and training programs.
- Assist in workflow management, workload balancing, and, when needed, coaching team members.
- Support the development of operational tools and delivery of training to enhance team productivity and compliance.
- Exercise sound judgment in diagnosing issues and proposing creative solutions within established guidelines.
- Organize and maintain accurate work information and documentation to ensure completeness and compliance.
Desired Skill-Set
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in procurement, operations, or a related field of study.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, business procedures, and risk/regulatory requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and influence skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
