Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst/PO- Viva Engage Implementation and is pivotal in supporting enterprise communication initiatives. This position focuses on managing and enhancing platforms such as Viva Engage, SharePoint, and Viva Connections, working closely with both business and technology teams to deliver strategic solutions that meet evolving needs. The ideal candidate will bridge requirements gathering, technical storytelling, and Agile practices to ensure seamless platform implementation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, actionable technical stories and define detailed acceptance criteria to guide development teams.
- Collaborate with application development teams to deliver platform enhancements and integrations efficiently.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, backlog refinement, and prioritization sessions.
- Act as a proxy product owner for Viva Engage, advocating for platform priorities and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Elicit and clarify requirements from business partners, especially those with ambiguous or evolving goals.
- Maintain a consistent intake-to-delivery operational rhythm, managing tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
- Support application testing, troubleshoot issues, and participate in bug fixes to ensure platform stability.
- Work collaboratively with the Viva Engage Product Manager and UX teams to enhance user experience.
- Learn from and support other Business System Analysts managing communication platforms like SharePoint and Viva Connections, serving as backup when needed.
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience in application testing processes within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Viva Engage platform implementations and support.
- Demonstrated ability to support communication lines of business with fast turnaround times and compliance needs.
- Strong skills in eliciting requirements from business partners, translating needs into technical stories.
- Active participation in Agile/Scrum teams, including backlog management and sprint planning.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Business System Analyst, with 2-3 years supporting product ownership responsibilities.
- Proven experience in writing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting UX teams or working within UX design processes.
- Familiarity with intake and ticketing systems for efficient request management.
- Knowledge of the unique needs of communication platforms, including compliance and brand consistency considerations.
