Junior Recruiter – High-Volume Hiring
BeachHead is growing and we require a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruitment professional to join our dynamic team.
This role will support high-volume recruitment for administrative, customer service, and IT Help Desk–type roles. The primary responsibilities include executing a high-volume recruitment strategy, sourcing and screening large candidate pools, managing repetitive and similar roles, and supporting timely delivery against client demand.
The Junior Recruiter will collaborate closely with Senior Recruiters and the Recruitment Team Lead/Manager to understand role requirements, hiring volumes, and timelines. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience recruiting for bulk or repeat roles who thrives in a fast-paced, high-activity environment and enjoys engaging with candidates at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively screen high volumes of candidates against job descriptions in a fast-paced environment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for repetitive and similar roles (Admin, Customer Service, IT Help Desk, etc.)
- Contact applicants for new contract opportunities and re-engage past applicants
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, databases, referrals, and social media platforms
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for ongoing and recurring hiring needs
- Conduct phone screens and engage candidates professionally and efficiently
- Coordinate closely with Senior Recruiters to support bulk hiring initiative
- Log all candidate information, notes, and communications accurately in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Prepare resumes and basic candidate summaries for submission to clients
- Set clear expectations with candidates regarding role details, timelines, and next steps
- Support candidates through interview scheduling and preparation
- Meet individual activity and performance metrics outlined in the ATS dashboard
- Act as a BeachHead ambassador by promoting our company culture and client values
Desired Skill-Set:
- 1–3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume, bulk, or repetitive hiring environments
- Experience recruiting for administrative, customer service, call center, or IT Help Desk–type roles
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-activity recruitment environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), especially for candidate outreach and follow-ups
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
- Familiarity with job boards, resume databases, and professional networking platforms
- Ability to follow recruitment processes while meeting tight timelines
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Background in high-volume call center hiring or Banking sector experience is a nice-to-have
Expected Compensation:
- CAD 55,000 – CAD 90,000 (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.)
