Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Customer Support Specialist- KYC/Banking. This position involves providing exceptional customer service in a contact center environment, assisting clients with account updates, and ensuring compliance with KYC/KYB requirements. Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $27.70/hr

Responsibilities

  • Deliver inbound and outbound support to customers over the phone in a professional manner.
  • Create a positive customer experience by managing inquiries, issues, and service requests promptly and effectively.
  • Navigate multiple systems and screens to update customer account information accurately during calls.
  • Conduct account reviews to identify discrepancies or missing data, following established procedures.
  • Document all customer interactions thoroughly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and internal compliance standards, including KYC/KYB requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to workload to meet service level agreements (SLAs).

Desired Skill-Set

  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Prior experience in customer service within a contact center, financial institution, or similar environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls confidently and professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguity and solve business problems efficiently.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of KYC/KYB compliance and requirements.
  • Banking industry experience.
