Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst – Intermediate. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support global technology architecture initiatives, collaborate on regulatory change projects, and gain exposure to innovative technologies including AI and data analytics.
Pay rate range (CAD): $65.04/hr – $78.05/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop and document detailed business requirements for technology architecture projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution and technical requirements
- Partner with architecture, technology, and risk teams to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks
- Support and improve architecture processes, controls, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Facilitate communication, conduct problem analysis, and resolve ambiguous challenges impacting operational risk management
- Contribute to testing and delivery of architecture platforms and capabilities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of external regulatory environment and industry best practices
- Assist in process maturity assessments, recommending improvements and efficiencies
- Support change management initiatives related to technology architecture changes
Desired Skill-Set
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in financial services
- Proven experience with regulatory projects within the financial industry
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence (2+ years)
- Experience with SharePoint (2+ years)
- Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and risk management practices
- Ability to analyze complex data and support data analytics tools such as Power BI and Databricks
Nice to Have
- Banking industry experience
- Knowledge of processes and systems
- Experience with EOS and ORBUS software
- Data analytics experience using Databricks and Power BI
