Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst – Merchant Solution/POS.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to support in delivering innovative payment processing solutions and POS device projects. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, gather requirements, and ensure project milestones are achieved, all while contributing to a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $38.03/hr – $45.64/hr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams, stakeholders, and vendors to gather and document detailed project requirements for POS and merchant solutions.
- Develop and manage project timelines, work-back schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Support process documentation by capturing workflows, procedures, and best practices related to merchant payment solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and communication across teams throughout project life cycles.
- Advocate for stakeholder needs and project priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in supporting rollout projects for various merchant onboarding and device deployments.
- Track project progress, identify issues, and escalate risks as needed to facilitate proactive resolutions.
- Contribute to process improvements and support documentation efforts to enhance team operations.
Desired Skill-Set
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in project coordination or business analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and MS Projects.
- Experience in requirement gathering and documenting business processes.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively across organizational levels.
Nice to Have
- Vendor management experience.
- Banking or financial services background.
- Experience with POS device projects.
- Knowledge of merchant solutions or payments industry.
