UX Writer- Banking

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a UX Writer in the Banking sector. The position involves creating compelling and accessible content for banking applications and digital platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience while adhering to regulatory standards and brand voice. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how customers interact with financial products across multiple channels and contribute to impactful digital transformation initiatives.
Pay rate range (CAD): $71.87/hr – $86.25/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop, refine, and maintain clear, concise content for banking digital applications, websites, and tools
- Collaborate with UX designers, Product Owners, and development teams to integrate content into user flows and prototypes
- Apply user-centered design principles and plain language standards to enhance accessibility and usability
- Review legal, compliance, and internal review feedback to ensure content aligns with regulatory and brand requirements
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather insights and provide content guidance
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality work within deadlines
- Contribute to content strategy and best practices for digital banking experiences
- Create content that supports an intuitive and engaging customer journey across digital touchpoints
Desired Skill-Set
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience with Figma or similar design tools
- Strong command of MS Word and editing tools
- Familiarity with Canadian plain language standards and the Accessible Canada Act
- Ability to adapt content based on user research and stakeholder feedback
- Experience working with regulatory and compliance guidelines in banking or financial services
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial or banking industries
- Public website content experience
- Knowledge of accessibility and compliance standards beyond Canadian requirements
