Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Employee Monitoring Analyst/Specialist – (Internal Fraud). This position involves supporting the employee monitoring program by analyzing alerts related to potential misconduct or fraudulent activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment.

Pay rate range (CAD): $31.96 – $38.35

Responsibilities

  • Review alerts generated by global investigations related to employee conduct
  • Assess, document, and escalate potential misconduct or fraud cases in accordance with established guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and concise documentation of investigations and decisions
  • Prioritize and manage a queue of alerts to ensure timely responses within daily and weekly timeframes
  • Support additional operational and analytical tasks as assigned
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with banking and financial institution standards

Desired Skill-Set

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in banking, fraud, AML, or conduct investigations
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate) and SharePoint
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Capable of writing clear, concise rationales and documentation
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize effectively

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Customer Connect application (potentially BMO-specific)
  • Familiarity with Spotfire and Power BI
  • Prior experience handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
  • Knowledge of BMO policies and procedures
  • Experience in AML, fraud detection, or related investigations within a financial institution
