Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Service Representative – Senior to provide critical support within retail deposits and payments operations. This position involves handling complex service requests, transaction processing, and stakeholder communication to ensure a seamless customer experience. The role is based on-site, requiring bilingual proficiency in French and English, and offers opportunities for growth and professional development.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $22.67/hr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and transactions to identify insights and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Process deposits and payments, including cheque and electronic transactions, lockbox, and remote deposit activities.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of work activities and documentation.
  • Respond accurately and promptly to stakeholder inquiries, ensuring all service level agreements are met.
  • Support change management initiatives and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Perform quality control checks and assist in training team members.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior management, following established guidelines.
  • Reconcile and verify information to detect discrepancies and resolve them appropriately.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and operational risk controls.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new systems or process enhancements.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Bilingual in French and English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • 1-2 years of experience in an analytical or customer service role within a financial setting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, Outlook, and document management tools
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience working at a major bank
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards
  • Exposure to payment processing systems and related technology
