Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual UAT Tester. In this position, you will support testing activities across Commercial Lending applications, leveraging your strong testing expertise and bilingual communication skills in English and French to ensure system functionality and data accuracy.
Pay rate range (CAD): $50.72/hr – $60.86/hr
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end UAT test scenarios based on detailed business requirements
- Review requirements to identify gaps and provide constructive feedback to Business Analysts and Project Managers
- Document test results meticulously, log defects, and follow through to resolution
- Participate in defect triage calls and coordinate with technology teams to address issues
- Clearly communicate testing progress, blockers, and risks to all stakeholders
- Validate system functionality, data integrity, and workflow processes
- Assist in test planning, data preparation, and environment setup to support testing activities
- Provide bilingual support during testing, including clarifications and walkthroughs
- Manage multiple projects within a release cycle to ensure timely delivery
Desired Skill-Set
- Fluency in English and French
- 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in UAT or functional testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC and testing lifecycle processes
- Proficiency with testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr, or similar platforms
- Ability to craft clear and comprehensive test cases and defect reports
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
Nice to Have
- Experience working within Commercial Lending or Financial Services sectors
- Familiarity with LoanIQ, APMS, LTS, SF, or comparable platforms
- Experience collaborating with offshore and onsite teams
