Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Salesforce Marketing Specialist – SFMC. This position offers the opportunity to lead the migration of marketing programs from Unica to Salesforce, leveraging your expertise to enhance digital engagement and personalization within a regulated environment. The role involves managing campaign execution, audience segmentation, and team training, contributing to the modernization of the company’s marketing ecosystem.

Pay rate range (CAD): $36.86/hr – $44.24/hr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing to design, optimize, and implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys, including audience filtering in Salesforce CDC.
  • Build and launch multi-channel campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder.
  • Develop and configure customer journeys, including setting entry, exit, and re-entry criteria aligned with campaign goals.
  • Oversee journey planning, including technical reviews, quality assurance, and campaign execution management.
  • Create responsive, brand-compliant campaign templates and dynamic content using AMPscript and HTML/CSS.
  • Manage audience segmentation and data extensions, utilizing SFMC tools and scripting languages to personalize marketing efforts.
  • Troubleshoot campaign development issues related to content rendering, link accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Automate content updates and enable personalization through scripting languages.
  • Train team members on Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, best practices, and deployment procedures.
  • Support campaign performance analysis and continuous optimization efforts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control throughout campaign lifecycle.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing automation.
  • Proven track record in campaign management, audience segmentation, and delivery within SFMC.
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, HTML/CSS, and dynamic content scripting.
  • SQL experience for building automations, analyzing data, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Strong understanding of CRM concepts and marketing best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations such as CASL applicable to email marketing in Canada.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Administrator, Developer, Email Specialist).
  • Experience working within financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of inline, embedded, and external CSS, plus experience working with AMPScript + CSS.
  • Cross-functional team collaboration in a matrixed environment.
  • Exposure to journey orchestration in a regulated context.
