Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst – Mutual Fund. This position involves supporting a major migration project, one of the bank's largest initiatives, requiring strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and process modeling skills to facilitate a seamless transition to a new book of record.
Pay rate range (CAD): $64.49/hr – $77.39/hr
Responsibilities
- Meet with partners to understand current processes and document requirements for the future state
- Host meetings to gather essential information supporting conversion activities
- Analyze business needs and propose practical recommendations and solutions proactively
- Develop detailed requirement documentation and process maps using advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to ensure project success
- Support project timelines and deliverables, ensuring milestones are met
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience in documenting business requirements and process mapping
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly and concisely
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Comfortable hosting and participating in stakeholder meetings
Nice to Have
- Mutual Fund licensing or knowledge
- Experience in banking environments
- Previous Financial Corporation experience
- Familiarity with investments, mutual funds, registered products, CIRO, or Fundserve
