Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Power BI Developer- Copilot/AI to contribute to critical reporting and data transformation initiatives within a dynamic environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise finance applications involving dashboards, reporting, and modernization projects, utilizing a Microsoft-based ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports for capital markets and finance teams
- Build data models and calculations using practical DAX to support business insights
- Transform and integrate data from SQL Server, Azure, and other enterprise sources
- Support multiple concurrent reporting initiatives within Capital Markets IT
- Present dashboards clearly and explain metrics and logic to technical stakeholders
- Support enhancements for corporate investment applications
- Assist with Databricks enablement and migration from legacy solutions like SSIS / SSAS to Azure Data Factory and Databricks
- Contribute to cloud-based modernization and data integration efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Document dashboards, data sources, and business logic according to enterprise standards
Desired Skill-Set
- Practical experience with Power BI development, including data modeling and report building
- Hands-on experience with DAX formulas and calculations in Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL and Azure data sources integration
- Comfortable working with enterprise databases and report distribution
- Good communication skills with the ability to present insights effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and collaborate across teams
- 3-6 years of relevant experience depending on technical proficiency
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate
- Experience supporting integration of Power BI with broader enterprise applications
- Basic knowledge of .NET C# development and finance applications
- Familiarity with Databricks and Azure Data Factory pipelines
- Prior experience with cloud modernization projects
