Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Project Manager (Wealth Management). This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and deliver critical initiatives within the wealth management domain, ensuring successful project outcomes in a dynamic banking environment.
Expected compensation range (CAD): $110,000 – $130,000
Responsibilities
- Manage projects with budgets up to $1.6 million, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, Gantt charts, resource allocations, and forecasting documents
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive project progress
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication between business and technology teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, establishing trust and transparency
- Effectively manage vendor relationships, asking the right questions to keep projects on track
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and risks to proactively address issues and ensure quality outcomes
Desired Skill-Set
- 5–7 years of experience in project management within banking or financial services
- Strong organizational and planning skills with a focus on delivering technology projects
- Proven experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and resource planning
- Excellent communication skills tailored for stakeholder engagement at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, including vendors, to meet project objectives
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of wealth management software systems such as portfolio management, trading platforms, and CRM solutions
- Familiarity with project delivery within regulatory environments
- Experience with Agile or Waterfall project management approaches
- Prior involvement in platform upgrades and software enhancement initiatives
