Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Program Manager in CyberSecurity & Research. As a Research Support Program Manager within the Cyber Security Innovation team, you will join a dynamic, cross-functional group passionate about advancing cybersecurity research and talent development. You will be instrumental in managing core innovation programs, supporting research activities, and facilitating strategic partnerships to ensure the organization stays at the forefront of cybersecurity resilience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the Innovation Radar and program pipeline, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Track, report, and facilitate activities within the Research Network, sharing insights and outputs effectively
- Support delivery of monthly knowledge-sharing development activities to foster a strong security culture
- Collaborate with the Director to enhance and revamp program management plans
- Engage with department heads, vendors, and stakeholders to solicit cooperation and resolve issues
- Synthesize program activities, survey findings, and research into impactful reports and presentations for leadership
- Develop clear, concise communications tailored for executive and technical audiences
- Facilitate socialization of research findings and program outputs across teams
- Coordinate cross-functional working groups, fostering collaboration with internal and external partners
- Identify skill gaps and promote training opportunities to diversify and strengthen talent pipelines
- Partner with academic and industry collaborators to support early talent development and research innovation
- Track, report, and participate in AI/automation opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual workloads
- Initiate and implement process improvements within program management and research support functions
Desired Skill-Set
- 8+ years experience in program or project management within technology, information security, or research environments
- 2+ years supporting or managing innovation or research programs in large enterprise or academic settings
- Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- 5+ years experience with program tracking, reporting, and process improvements
- Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, and business management principles
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint
- Change management experience of 2+ years
- 2+ years of cybersecurity experience
Nice to Have
- Banking experience
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CISSP
- Basic programming or automation skills (Python, SQL)
- Experience with prompt engineering
