Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Business Systems Analyst – ETL/Data Transformation Projects. This position involves supporting data migration projects within core banking systems, ensuring data integrity, and facilitating seamless system modernization. The successful candidate will play a vital role in data mapping, transformation, and stakeholder collaboration to support strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the migration of data from legacy data warehouses to new systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and execute data mapping, ETL processes, and data transformation workflows
- Work with Data Bricks, JSON, and APIs to facilitate data integration and processing
- Contribute to requirements gathering by writing clear and detailed user stories
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across technical and business teams
- Support data quality assurance and validation activities throughout project phases
- Document processes, data flows, and transformation logic for ongoing reference
Desired Skill-Set
- 8+ years of experience as a Business or Data Analyst in a banking or financial services environment
- Strong expertise in Data Mapping, ETL, Data Bricks, and Data Transformation
- Understanding of JSON format and API integration
- Experience working with Core Banking systems (must-have)
- Proven ability to write user stories and gather requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with data modernization projects
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards
- Knowledge of scripting languages or automation tools
- Prior experience working in Agile or Scrum teams
