Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Accountant with strong balance sheet and regional PnL experience. This contract position offers an opportunity to engage closely with regional finance teams and stakeholders, providing a hands-on approach to financial analysis and process improvement.
Pay rate (CAD): $41.10/hr – $49.32/hr
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze balance sheets to support financial reporting and decision-making
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to provide upfront analysis of regional PnL statements
- Work within the product control team to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Understand underlying business structures, revenue transfers, and regional tax implications
- Support process changes and upfront analysis initiatives related to balance sheet and PnL management
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and finance teams to facilitate seamless operations
Desired Skill-Set:
- Strong knowledge of balance sheets and regional view of PnL
- Experience in the banking or capital markets sectors
- Analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and reports
- Excellent stakeholder interaction and communication skills
- Familiarity with entity structures and revenue transfers
Nice to Have:
- Capital markets product knowledge
- Technical capabilities such as macros or Python scripting
- Regional tax experience
