Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Audio Video Engineer- Creston. This position involves managing complex AV environments, developing standards, and guiding legacy systems toward modernization. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic projects supporting enterprise real estate and collaboration infrastructure.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60 – $94.20

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert in AV technology, providing incident resolution, solution design, and continuous improvement insights.
  • Manage the development and certification of AV standards within labs and ensure adherence across meeting spaces.
  • Lead AV testing, rollout, and modernization of existing occupied spaces.
  • Collaborate with Lines of Business to bring legacy AV rooms up to current standards.
  • Ensure vendor and service governance policies are maintained throughout project lifecycles.
  • Provide engineering consultation for enterprise voice services, including lifecycle management, currency updates, and optimization initiatives.
  • Support enterprise AV projects leveraging modern technologies such as Crestron, Microsoft Surface Hub, Biamp DSP, Dante routing, and related systems.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of strategic AV solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Desired Skill-Set

  • 5+ years of Crestron experience
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Surface Hub experience
  • 5+ years of DSP experience, particularly Biamp
  • 5+ years of Dante routing experience
  • Strong knowledge of AV system integration and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with vendor management and operational governance
  • Experience in developing AV standards and certifications
  • Ability to manage complex projects independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with broadcast technologies
  • AQAV9000, CQD, or CQT certification
  • Knowledge of Evertz systems
  • Cisco networking skills, preferably with Catalyst series
  • IPTV experience
  • Understanding of enterprise collaboration and digital signage solutions

This is a contract position scheduled to start on April 6, 2026, for a duration of six months. The role is hybrid, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
