Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Intermediate Angular Developer (Banking). This position involves contributing to critical migration projects, enhancing existing features, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless front-end solutions.
Pay rate range (CAD): $57.97/hr – $69.57/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain rich, interactive, and efficient Angular applications, primarily focusing on Angular 17 and migration to Angular 21
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to implement designs using HTML and CSS, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility
- Enhance and optimize existing features within the application, providing scalable and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Support migration efforts by updating legacy codebases and ensuring smooth transition to newer Angular versions
- Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and continuous improvement
Desired Skill-Set
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Angular development (Angular 17 mandatory)
- Overall professional experience of 5-7 years in front-end development
- Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience working in development roles focused on UI enhancements and feature updates
- Familiarity with Angular migration processes and best practices
- Good understanding of version control systems and collaborative development tools
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript and RxJS
- Knowledge of backend integration and API consumption
- Experience working on migration projects from Angular 17 to Angular 21
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Prior experience in financial or enterprise environments
