Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Financial Analyst. This position involves supporting day-to-day operational tasks, preparing reports, coordinating database activities, and ensuring data accuracy within a dynamic environment. Pay rate range (CAD): $42.07/hr – $50.48/hr
Responsibilities:
- Manage ticketing tasks and process requests efficiently
- Create and prepare PowerPoint presentations for various reporting needs
- Assist with month-end activities during busy periods
- Coordinate database updates, testing, and modifications
- Review database user requests to estimate project scope, time, and costs
- Support team efforts in database management and security measures
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure project success
Desired Skill-Set:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Background in finance or accounting preferred
- Experience with reconciliation processes
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Basic understanding of database management systems
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience with ticketing systems and process requests
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous roles involving database security or testing
- Mentoring skills for team support
