Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a C# Quantitative Developer in Capital Markets and Derivatives. This position offers the chance to contribute to high-impact projects within a collaborative team environment, supporting analytics and automation efforts in a dynamic setting.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $108.70/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, program, and maintain analytics within the bank derivatives source system.
  • Provide booking and diagnostic support for integrated models.
  • Collaborate with teammates to automate release, testing, and monitoring tools.
  • Enhance system robustness and capabilities alongside the team.
  • Work closely with trading desks and quantitative analysts on valuation and downstream feeds.
  • Ensure accurate information capture by collaborating with downstream groups.

Desired Skill-Set:

  • University degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or statistics.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in C#.
  • Experience with databases, particularly MySQL.
  • Knowledge of numerical analysis relevant to financial modeling.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with equities and/or equity derivatives trading.
  • Experience working with large codebases and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of distributed computing.
  • Expertise in C++ or advanced C#.
  • Experience developing financial models.
  • Scripting language proficiency.
  • Previous experience in the banking or financial industry.

Note: This is a 9-month contract position with the possibility of extension, working 3 to 4 days in-office. The role is hybrid and involves no overtime.

Please note this position is based in Ontario. Compensation is based on the bill rate model, with a pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $108.70/hr.

Interview process: All via Teams. The interviews will occur during the week of April 27th, consisting of three rounds, including general knowledge and technical assessments.
