Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Application Release Manager/Deployment Lead. This position involves overseeing the coordination and execution of releases within a complex AML environment, ensuring smooth deployment of code changes, patches, and upgrades across multiple teams and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end release management for software patches, upgrades, and major deployments
- Coordinate across Development, QA, Infrastructure, Vendors, and Business teams to ensure timely delivery
- Manage plans, timelines, and dependencies to keep releases on track
- Provide regular status updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Identify risks and issues proactively and escalate as needed
- Oversee defect management, code changes, and production incident resolution
- Ensure compliance with deployment procedures and standards
- Facilitate smooth collaboration among cross-functional teams and vendors
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven Release Management and Delivery Project Management experience
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing software releases in an enterprise or banking environment
- Familiarity with Jira and ServiceNow platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of production and release environments
Nice to Have
- Proficiency with MS Project or other PM tools
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
- Previous experience in AML or financial services projects
- Exposure to vendor management and software deployment best practices
