Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Customer Onboarding & Digital Banking (API). This position involves supporting the onboarding platform that manages products such as chequing accounts, savings accounts, and credit cards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing and translating business and technical requirements across the entire technology stack, from front-end user interfaces to middleware, APIs, and back-end systems.
Pay rate range (CAD): $70.00/hr – $75.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business and technical requirements.
- Create end-to-end requirements, user stories, and data mappings.
- Facilitate story mapping sessions to align stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business teams, technology groups, and delivery partners to ensure alignment.
- Support Agile teams throughout the project lifecycle, adapting to changing priorities.
- Drive requirements management to meet evolving business needs.
- Actively participate in stakeholder management, including challenging stakeholders, with a proactive approach.
- Ensure accountability for deliverables, timelines, and outcomes.
Desired Skill-Set
- 10+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
- Proven success in managing large, complex enterprise projects.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end system flows encompassing front-end, middleware, APIs, and back-end integrations.
- Prior experience within banking customer onboarding processes.
- Excellent business and technical requirements gathering skills.
- Proficiency in creating detailed requirements and user stories.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with challenging stakeholders.
- Adaptability to change with a proactive, ownership-driven attitude.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with API development and middleware solutions.
- Familiarity with banking compliance and security standards.
- Previous experience with story mapping techniques.
- Knowledge of banking products beyond onboarding processes.
- Certification in Agile methodologies or business analysis.
