Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Business Analyst, Capital Markets Business. In this position, you will support the delivery of critical Business-as-Usual initiatives within the Global Markets division. The role involves managing multiple small-scale, high-impact projects, working closely with stakeholders across Business, Technology, and Operations to ensure seamless execution and business readiness.
Pay rate range (CAD): $75.00/hr – $80.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Independently manage multiple concurrent BAU initiatives and small business change projects from inception through to implementation.
- Partner with stakeholders across business, technology, and operations to understand challenges and facilitate solutions.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and produce detailed documentation, including BRDs, process maps, workflow diagrams, and user stories.
- Analyze current and future state processes to identify operational improvement opportunities.
- Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support UAT, defect management, implementation planning, and production readiness activities.
- Develop training materials, SOPs, and documentation for successful change adoption.
- Facilitate meetings, document decisions, track action items, and manage dependencies to keep initiatives on track.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders across all relevant functions.
Desired Skill-Set
- Extensive Business Analysis or Business Consulting experience within Capital Markets.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple BAU initiatives or small projects.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end project delivery lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior leaders.
- Demonstrated facilitation skills, with the ability to ask insightful questions and build consensus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent documentation skills, including BRDs, process maps, workflows, and test scenarios.
- Experience supporting UAT, change management, and business readiness.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to ownership and deliverables.
