Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Release Train Strategist/Scrum Master (Safe Agile). This position involves coordinating and guiding the planning, deployment, and delivery of software across multiple teams, ensuring smooth operation of the release train. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing dependencies, resolving obstacles, and fostering collaboration within a large-scale agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate program increment (PI) planning sessions to align team objectives with organizational goals
- Monitor progress across multiple teams to ensure adherence to schedules and manage interdependencies
- Identify and resolve obstacles impacting release schedules and product quality
- Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to define and prioritize features for upcoming releases
- Promote effective communication and collaboration among teams to drive continuous improvement
- Generate and report metrics to track performance and support continuous delivery
Desired Skill-Set
- 2+ years of Release Train Engineer (RTE) experience
- 2+ years of regulatory experience in a financial context
- 10+ years of project or program management, including technology delivery
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
- Jira proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time and priority management skills
- Attention to detail, self-starter, adaptable
- Effective stakeholder management abilities
Nice to Have
- Financial acumen experience
- Banking or financial institution experience
- Prior experience with financial services
- SAFe Agile certification
