Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Strategic Partnerships Manager – Customer Segment & Banking Products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnership initiatives to accelerate growth across key customer segments through youth and student partnerships, community events, and brand visibility efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead community engagement strategies that foster meaningful relationships and drive customer loyalty.
Pay rate range (CAD): $47.10/hr – $56.52/hr
Responsibilities
- Build and manage partnerships with post-secondary institutions, student associations, international student offices, and community partners
- Develop and implement campus, community, and digital partnership programs to boost acquisition, engagement, and retention in youth, student, and newcomer markets
- Oversee sponsorships, co-branded activities, and community events to enhance brand presence and deliver engaging customer experiences
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Legal, Compliance, and Branch teams to deliver coordinated, compliant initiatives
- Identify new growth opportunities through emerging partnerships, channels, and community networks
- Use performance insights, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to refine strategies and optimize investments
- Prepare business cases, partnership proposals, and executive reports to support strategic decisions
- Manage partnership operations, including onboarding, contracts, budgets, and expense tracking
- Deliver targeted marketing campaigns and compelling stakeholder presentations to external partners and internal teams
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 5 years in strategy, partnerships, consulting, or business development
- Proven success in building and scaling external partnerships that generate measurable growth
- Knowledge of youth, student, and newcomer segments, including differentiation between domestic and international needs
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities across internal and external environments
- Analytical mindset with the capacity to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Highly organized, adaptable, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Sound risk management and sound judgment in business decision-making
Nice to Have
- Experience working with post-secondary institutions, youth ecosystems, or community organizations
- Background in banking, financial services, or customer growth environments
