Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an IT Support Analyst. This position involves supporting and maintaining mission-critical systems, ensuring service continuity, deploying changes, managing incidents, and collaborating across technical teams to optimize infrastructure, applications, and security operations. The successful candidate will contribute to operational improvements and be a key player in ensuring that technology supports business objectives efficiently and reliably.
Pay rate range (CAD): $36.23/hr – $43.48/hr
Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and operational health of infrastructure, applications, and security environments.
- Respond immediately to production issues to restore services and minimize downtime.
- Support deployment activities, including deploying and testing changes in production.
- Collaborate with development teams to build self-healing, enterprise-wide monitoring and logging solutions.
- Assist in incident management, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Provide technical support to end-users and internal teams.
- Develop and update knowledge assets, standards, and best practices.
- Facilitate communication across teams to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
- Participate in testing cycles to verify deployment readiness and system operability.
- Identify operational efficiencies and proactively recommend process improvements.
- Support capacity planning and performance tracking.
- Follow protocols for deployment, change management, and compliance standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, changes, and operational procedures.
Desired Skill-Set
- 2 to 4 years of experience in IT or a related business environment.
- Knowledge of IT operations, monitoring, logging, and incident management practices.
- Strong technical skills in systems, network, applications, and security support.
- Experience with deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting infrastructure and applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and logging tools.
- Knowledge of security principles and practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise IT frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience working in a regulated financial environment.
- Certifications in systems, networking, or security.
