Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Jr. Insurance Associate-LLQP. This position involves managing essential operational tasks within a small, collaborative onsite team, supporting a broader virtual team environment. The role offers valuable, specialized experience in the insurance industry, with opportunities for career growth and development.

Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $22.57/hr

Responsibilities

  • Manage email correspondence and ensure timely processing of applications.
  • Accurately complete assigned tasks related to client and policy administration.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with back-office teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and review monthly reports for management review.
  • Maintain detailed and precise documentation of customer and client information.
  • Support the team during a training period of 3 to 5 weeks.
  • Adhere to compliance and operational standards while ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings.
  • Support ongoing process improvements and contribute to a positive team environment.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Proven calendar management experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of life, critical illness, and disability insurance processing and products.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of service experience in the life insurance industry, preferably in administrative or support roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple priorities under deadlines.

Nice to Have

  • Level 2 Life License or LLQP (or willingness to attain within 6 months).
  • Certifications such as CFP, CLU, CHFC, or similar.
  • Experience with insurance solutions, client relationship management, and wealth management.
  • Prior experience in a similar back-office or support role within the insurance or financial services industry.
