Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Product Business Analyst/Capital Markets/Post Trade Platforms overseeing the enhancement and development of the Post Trade Technology Platform. This role demands deep experience in Capital Markets and the ideal candidate brings broad product knowledge across Equities, Options, Futures, and Fixed Income Post Trade operations. You will define, prioritize, and deliver solutions that enable efficient post trade lifecycle management, strengthen risk controls, and improve operational effectiveness across Global Markets Post Trade functions. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, you will ensure Post Trade processes are streamlined, compliant, and supported by robust technology design, solutioning, implementation, and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the product vision and roadmap for Post Trade platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals
  • Oversee end-to-end product management, including planning, prioritization, delivery, support, and continuous improvement
  • Track roadmap milestones, address gaps, and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, compliance, and technology teams to gather requirements and prioritize features
  • Assess functional, project, and delivery dependencies & risks; communicate mitigation strategies
  • Provide transparent reporting on roadmap adherence to stakeholders
  • Engage vendors, Lines of Business, developers, and support teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Manage backlog and prioritize features for timely enhancements
  • Monitor delivery progress and report transparently to stakeholders
  • Prepare and document business use cases, technical specifications, process flow diagrams, and data mappings
  • Develop test cases, conduct functional testing, and ensure quality assurance
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline trade capture, allocation, confirmation, and settlement processes
  • Ensure controls are in place for trade breaks, reconciliations, and exception management
  • Drive improvements in data quality, trade reporting, and operational transparency
  • Partner with vendor engineering teams to develop scalable, resilient post-trade solutions supporting operational efficiency and business growth
  • Support system integrations with upstream (Front Office) and Post Trade systems

Desired Skill-Set

  • 7+ years in Product Management, Business Analysis, Middle Office, Operations, or Post Trade Technology within Capital Markets
  • Proven experience delivering technology solutions for post-trade workflows and operational processes
  • Experience with trade lifecycle systems, FIX protocol, and post-trade workflows
  • Basic scripting knowledge for data mapping
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Strong knowledge of Equities, Options, Futures, and Fixed Income products, as well as market structure
  • Understanding of post-trade activities including allocations, confirmations, trade matching (CTM, FIX, Traiana), and settlement
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and data analytics tools
  • Prior work in building or enhancing Middle Office technology platforms
  • Knowledge of settlement functions for Equities (DTCC, CDS), Fixed Income (FED, BONY, DTCC, CDS), Options (OCC, CDCC), and Futures (GMI)
  • Familiarity with Back Office settlement interfaces (BPS, ICI, Gloss)
  • Knowledge of SWIFT MT (MT5xx) message mapping
