Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Data Analyst-Databricks/APIs supporting API and data initiatives within a main data warehouse environment. The role involves collaborating with technical teams, analyzing data models, and owning deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Support API-related projects within the data warehouse environment
- Analyze and understand data models, tables, and relationships including primary and foreign keys
- Collaborate with architects and technical teams to gather requirements and build solutions
- Work independently to deliver high-quality analysis and documentation
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams
- Take ownership of deliverables and meet tight deadlines
- Proactively identify issues and propose solutions in a fast-moving environment
Desired Skill-Set
- Strong understanding of APIs and data architecture
- Expertise in databases, data modeling, and data relationships
- Knowledge of data models, tables, joins, and primary/foreign keys
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Experience working with seasoned architects and technical teams
- Problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience with Databricks and Medallion architecture
- Background working with Databricks teams or in cloud data environments
