Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Information Management Analyst/Treasury. This position involves leading complex data initiatives within a financial services environment, supporting critical project deliverables, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and validation of requirements.

Pay rate range (CAD): $79.07/hr – $94.89/hr

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate review of project requirements, ensuring proper implementation and validation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into practical data solutions.
  • Lead efforts in data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and investigation of complex data issues.
  • Support data sourcing, onboarding, and integration processes within modern cloud-based platforms.
  • Analyze data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and support data quality initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain disciplined testing practices for large-scale data projects, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve data defects and ensure data integrity.
  • Drive project progress, track timelines, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data processes, mappings, and testing outcomes.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, profiling, and validation (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and Treasury domains, including investments and related data modeling (minimum 5 years).
  • Proven experience delivering large, complex data initiatives in banking or financial services.
  • Experience with project testing discipline—test planning, case design, execution, and defect management (minimum 5 years).
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Treasury background with additional knowledge in liquidity and capital markets.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data management in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with data governance and lineage tools.
