Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst – TPRM/Procurement. This position offers the chance to work within a high-profile Procurement Transformation Program, providing valuable exposure, visibility, and the opportunity for ongoing engagement based on performance.
Pay rate range (CAD): $61.59/hr – $73.91/hr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across business functions to align technology solutions with strategic goals
- Gather and translate requirements from business units to development teams
- Prepare cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system implementation decisions
- Apply business knowledge to resolve problems and identify improvement opportunities
- Support complex business processes and multiple projects as part of a project team
- Serve as a liaison between the business community and IT teams to deliver technical solutions meeting user needs
Desired Skill-Set
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in business analysis or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proven experience leading stakeholder discussions and eliciting user stories
- Proficiency with Confluence, Jira, and MS Office suite
- Experience documenting user stories and supporting Agile ceremonies
- Knowledge of QA, UAT processes, and functional testing support
- Banking or insurance industry experience
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze complex situations and develop innovative solutions
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with third-party management lifecycle, procurement systems, sourcing, contracting, and supplier management
- Additional qualifications such as an MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Prior experience working in a FI environment
