Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Release Train Strategist. The position supports initiatives in platform engineering, software delivery modernization, DevOps transformation, and AI-enabled engineering within a large enterprise environment. The successful candidate will partner with engineering teams to improve developer productivity, enhance software delivery performance, and accelerate the adoption of modern engineering practices and tooling.
Responsibilities
- Support platform engineering and software delivery modernization initiatives
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps best practices
- Evaluate and adopt AI-enabled engineering tools and workflows to improve developer productivity
- Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, and platform teams to optimize software delivery processes
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and standardize engineering practices
- Contribute technical expertise and execute priority modernization initiatives
Desired Skill-Set
- Strong experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and release automation
- Experience implementing modern engineering practices in large enterprise environments
- Proficiency in evaluating and adopting AI-assisted development and engineering tools
- Solid understanding of practical AI use cases across the software development lifecycle
- Expertise with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and source control management
- Experience with GitHub Copilot deployment and engineering enablement
- Excellent collaboration skills across engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and product teams
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to solve complex technical issues
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with internal developer platforms and self-service engineering tools
- Familiarity with cloud-native platforms and modernization projects
- Background working within large, regulated financial services organizations
