Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr.Translator/Revisor-OTTIAQ. This position involves supporting key projects within a structured banking environment, focusing on translating complex business requirements into actionable solutions, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring quality deliverables. Pay rate range (CAD): $64.33/hr – $77.20/hr
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements for various projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure clarity.
- Support process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, user stories, and use cases.
- Assist in testing activities, including creating test plans and validating deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed.
- Support the implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring seamless transition and adoption.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users post-implementation.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a banking or financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of banking processes, insurance, or financial technology projects.
- Proven ability to gather and interpret complex business requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with process mapping, gap analysis, and solutions design.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Familiarity with translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality deliverables.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of translation tools such as FlowFit and memoQ.
- Certification in business analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or related fields.
- Prior experience in compliance or legal applications within banking.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
