Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an AML analyst. This position involves providing essential operational support within a fast-paced, AML-focused environment, supporting onboarding activities and transaction processing to ensure compliance and service excellence.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $22.79/hr
Responsibilities
- Onboard contractors for AML-related projects by coordinating hiring SOWs and system access requests
- Collaborate with managers to facilitate onboarding and fulfill hiring requests efficiently
- Support the end-to-end request monitoring process, providing updates and next steps to end users
- Execute operational transactions accurately and promptly following established guidelines and SLAs
- Refer or escalate operational issues to appropriate teams for resolution
- Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and system efficiencies
- Validate incoming transaction data, perform necessary adjustments within authority limits
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders via email and follow-ups
- Support compliance with AML policies, confidentiality standards, and internal controls
- Contribute ideas for continuous process improvement and support ongoing initiatives

- Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, SharePoint
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Adaptability to evolving procedures and policies
- Knowledge of MM and FX products (Options, Foreign Exchange, Money Market instruments)
- Experience with global banking platforms and operational systems
Nice to Have
- Prior banking experience, particularly in asset servicing or trade processing
- Customer service background with client interaction focus
- Experience working in an AML or regulatory environment
