AP/AR Manager

Working with one of the top clients this role calls for an AP/AR Analyst who will be responsible for managing Post Entry processes including payables and/or offset refund credits, reconciliation of approved claims, and investigating outstanding and aging adjustments.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial reports, forecasts, and projection reports and ensuring all reports are accurate and completed within specified timelines.
- Partner with business unit leader(s) and/or senior management to provide financial guidance and support interpreting and analyzing financial and business issues which includes driving operating performance, delivering on business initiatives, growth and profitability while ensuring compliance with accounting principles and corporate governance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures as well as supporting narratives to financial statements.
- Prepare and distribute financial reporting packages to assigned business unit leader(s) and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and financial reporting requirements.
- Work with other finance staff to analyze and determine variance and business trends.
- Propose solutions, potential savings, or actions to mitigate business trends.
- Participate and/or may lead projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.

- Sound knowledge of customs and trade policies, procedures, and legislation.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Ability to gather and analyze large amounts of data at a macro and micro level.

- Ability to take initiative and constructively challenge the status quo to improve processes.
- Experience working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and prioritizing various deliverables.
