Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Application Architect/Contact Center/Amazon Connect. This position involves providing architecture support for contact center solutions, migration design, and AI integration within a highly regulated environment. The role offers opportunities to work with industry-standard platforms, develop key solutions, and contribute to critical projects in a dynamic setting.
Pay rate range (CAD): $58.41/hr – $70.09/hr
Responsibilities
- Design and define IT solution sets based on business requirements for contact center projects.
- Provide architecture overviews and technical guidance for migration and AI implementation initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure technical alignment and project success.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation using MS Office and Visio.
- Present technical solutions to large groups, ensuring clarity and stakeholder buy-in.
- Support project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
- Use Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
- Stay current on contact center technologies, including Amazon Connect and AI solutions.
Desired Skill-Set
- 2+ years of experience as an IT Architect or 4+ years of lead developer experience.
- Proven ability to define and deliver technical solutions from requirements.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience presenting to large groups (50+ people).
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Effective team collaboration and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work with a sense of urgency.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Contact center experience, including IVR flows and telecom solutions.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI solutions.
- Amazon Solution Architect certification.
- Background working within highly regulated environments such as banking, financial institutions, or medical sectors.
