Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Application Support Specialist – Access Provisioning/Banking/Python and offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in a fast-paced setting. You will be responsible for managing application support, troubleshooting system issues, and provisioning access across multiple critical applications, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to SLAs. Responsibilities
- Manage incident resolution for application and system issues promptly and efficiently.
- Generate reports utilizing SQL and other querying tools to support operational needs.
- Facilitate access provisioning through ServiceNow and other platforms, including Active Directory groups.
- Maintain high service standards by working within defined SLAs in a fast-paced environment.
- Document technical procedures and support processes to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve technical issues.
- Support application deployment and provisioning tasks as needed.
Desired Skill-Set
- Proven experience in application support with a focus on incident management and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in access provisioning, including use of ServiceNow and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in report generation and data querying using SQL.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, technical environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL beyond basic querying.
- AML compliance knowledge and banking industry experience.
- Scripting skills in Python for automation and scripting tasks.
- Familiarity with finance industry processes and tools.
