Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Application Support Analyst. This position involves providing operational and technical support for enterprise-scale OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters, including Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining platform stability, supporting deployments, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability of mission-critical applications hosted on OpenShift.
Pay rate range (CAD): $50.72/hr – $60.87/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operational support for OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters (ARO & AKS)
- Support environment activities such as upgrades, maintenance, resource quotas, and namespace management
- Execute basic deployment of public-facing applications on OpenShift
- Troubleshoot platform and application issues, escalating when necessary
- Collaborate with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools for deployment workflows
- Manage certificate updates, CSR requests, and certificate authority processes
- Retrieve logs and open support cases with Red Hat as needed
- Work efficiently in Linux command-line environments
- Participate in initial onsite training and transition to hybrid work model
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes platforms
- At least 2 years of production application support in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of high availability best practices for mission-critical infrastructure in a 24×7 setting
- Experience with RHEL Linux OS, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Shell Scripting, Microsoft Azure, Redis/MongoDB, Dynatrace or Grafana
- Ability to troubleshoot, document, and escalate issues effectively
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting applications in cloud/containerized environments
- Background working within a financial institution
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, YAML configurations, or automation tools

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
