Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Banking Associate-Wire Payments.. This position involves processing high-volume financial transactions, managing data entry, and supporting operational activities within a fast-paced banking environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $24.88/hr
Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of financial transactions, including wire transfers and cash product activities
- Manage shared inbox requests and respond promptly within SLAs
- Perform accurate data entry and validation of information
- Support money movement operations for Corporate, Commercial, and Small Business Banking clients
- Read and interpret documents for information retrieval and response distribution
- Adhere to applicable policies, procedures, and compliance regulations, including anti-money laundering standards
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve operational issues
- Participate in team meetings and contribute process improvement ideas
- Escalate high-risk or non-standard activities as required
Desired Skill-Set
- 2-4 years of banking or financial institution experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software systems
- Experience managing SLAs in a regulated environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Nice to Have
- Experience with wire processing or cash products (Loans, Deposits, Swaps, Forwards)
- Knowledge of global platforms such as MM and FX products
- Previous experience working in a compliance regulated setting
