Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist – Wire Payments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support wire transfer processing, electronic money movements, and client inquiries within a dynamic banking environment. The role involves a combination of training, on-the-job learning, and varied operational tasks, with some responsibilities requiring onsite presence.

Responsibilities

  • Process wire payments, electronic fund transfers, and Visa money transfers accurately and on time following established procedures
  • Assist clients with merchant searches and related transaction inquiries
  • Participate in training sessions, including observing and reading policies and procedures
  • Engage with managers and team members to resolve issues or support requests
  • Support cross-training for multiple operational tasks as needed
  • Maintain high levels of attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions
  • Follow risk and compliance protocols, escalating issues as necessary
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to enhanced service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering standards
  • Manage workload efficiently to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and productivity targets

  • Bilingual in French and English, verbal and written

  • Tech-savvy with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data entry)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of risk management and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new procedures and tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
  • Prior banking or financial services experience
  • Knowledge of global platforms and systems
  • Familiarity with trade processing and cash products such as loans, deposits, swaps, or forwards
