Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Bilingual HR Information Systems Analyst – Payroll/ SQL who will be responsible for production support of HR applications of the area including the critical payroll application. This candidate will ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues/problems, options, and recommendations for prompt resolution. The successful candidate must perform the needed steps to implement bulk loads of data into the application to business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigates reported problems. Makes necessary corrections to the database.
  • Recommend system/bug fixes. Identifies any technological and/or process gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Perform needed steps to implement bulk loads data in to the application by business needs.
  • Responsible for accurately and comprehensively capturing business needs. Document specifications for development and/or modification(s) to be done to the application by the provider.
  • Create test scenarios, and test grids to perform testing and ensure provider development is in line with requested modifications.
  • Coordinate and conduct needed activities for the development and maintenance of the HR applications (new functionalities, upgrades, etc.) by applicable change management processes.
  • Responsible for application access management.
  • Work with system configuration.
  • Create reports and complex queries with SQL and/or Crystal reports. Insert reports and queries created in the application client or Web version depending on the need.
  • Ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues/problems, options, and recommendations for prompt resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with teams of business and process experts, in support of transformational business process initiatives.
  • Communicate any application or process change to the different impacted stakeholders.
  • Maintain application documentation and team process documentation up to date.
  • Support the implementation of future-state processes through the creation/delivery of procedures and, job-aids.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans by participating in the scoping and estimating of proposed projects.
  • Deliver effective and efficient solutions by prioritizing tasks and ensuring project deliverables are implemented on time and within budget and quality parameters.
  • Ad hoc requests as required to further the strategic goals within the HR team.
  • Projects are moderately complex and performed under limited management supervision

Desired Skill Set:

  • 2 years of experience as an HR Information Systems Analyst
  • 2 years of experience with technology projects
  • Experience with Code writing/System configuration
  • Expertise in MS Office Applications including Advanced Excel
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Very good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written
  • Bachelor in administration
  • College degree in Information systems or a related field

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Human Resources or with Payroll processing system
  • Knowledge of VIP software or other similar software
  • Knowledge of Crystal Report or another report generator such as Oracle
  • Advanced knowledge of Access tools
