Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Bilingual Tester and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale software testing projects in a dynamic environment. This position involves analyzing business requirements, developing comprehensive test cases, executing manual and automation tests, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, communicate testing progress and issues, and help drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, and translate business and functional specifications into detailed testing requirements and test plans.
- Participate in project meetings to provide status updates, communicate issues, and ensure adherence to QA standards and schedules.
- Design, develop, execute, and coordinate testing procedures across multiple projects, including system integration testing.
- Document defects clearly using bug tracking systems and communicate findings effectively to development teams.
- Manage end-to-end testing activities, including creating and executing test cases for both small and large projects.
- Lead and motivate testing team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations by maintaining high-quality standards throughout testing phases.
- Engage in client review sessions to provide insights on testing outcomes and influence project decisions related to technology use.
- Track, report, and manage software issues and testing progress during all phases of the development process.
- Translate complex business processes and system requirements into comprehensive, well-structured test documentation.
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, including test case development, manual and automation testing.
- Fluency in French and English, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong ability to analyze requirements and develop effective test cases.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as ALM and Jira, including reporting.
- At least 2 years of experience working within Agile teams.
- Proven experience in executing test plans in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Velocity Ceira or similar testing tools.
- Banking or financial services industry experience.
- Familiarity with customer service technology, including call landing scenarios.
