Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a BSA- Capital Markets & Treasury and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects supporting complex financial systems. This position involves translating business rules into scalable technology solutions within a collaborative agile environment, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and process excellence.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret capital management business rules and data requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications, including traceability matrices.
- Develop clear user stories and acceptance criteria using JIRA and Confluence, supporting agile delivery.
- Document data lineage, catalog critical data sources, and maintain control artifacts to facilitate transparency, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Prepare comprehensive test cases, execute testing plans, and lead quality assurance activities to validate data accuracy and system performance.
- Conduct data discovery, profiling, and validation of key capital data sources to ensure completeness and reliability.
- Perform hands-on work with data platforms, integration processes, and testing methodologies, ensuring robust data governance.
- Design data and process flows using Visio, Confluence, and other relevant tools to facilitate understanding and documentation.
- Utilize SQL skills for data analysis across large datasets, demonstrating an understanding of big data concepts and their application in financial systems.
- Maintain a strong understanding of financial products and their effects on capital management strategies.
Desired Skill-Set
- Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in translating business rules into technical requirements, with proven traceability skills.
- Expertise in SQL and data analysis across extensive datasets, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Extensive hands-on experience in data integration, testing methodologies, and process documentation.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining data/process flows, governance artifacts, and control documentation.
- Solid foundational knowledge of financial products and their impact on capital management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Credit or Capital Calculation Engines, QRM, or Market Risk technology implementations.
- Familiarity with Axiom for capital reporting.
- Background in capital management technology, treasury systems, or related financial services roles.
- Certifications such as CFA or FRM.
- Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst certifications.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
