Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Senior Business Systems Analyst – Digital Transformation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape key business processes, collaborate with innovative teams, and contribute to large-scale technology initiatives within the banking or payments domain.
Pay rate range (CAD): $57.97/hr – $69.56/hr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements in line with the client’s standards and methodologies.
- Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions, refine user stories, and ensure clear understanding among all stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and workflows; identify gaps and recommend system enhancements aligned with strategic objectives.
- Translate business needs into comprehensive system specifications; work closely with technical teams to develop, test, and validate solutions.
- Support testing activities, review scenario results, and assist in deployment to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business leadership and technology teams to communicate requirements, address issues, and ensure project success.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and external consultants to ensure deliverables meet organizational standards and requirements.
- Continuously update technical and industry knowledge, adopting new tools and best practices to improve solution design and delivery.
Desired Skill-Set
- Over 8 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis within a corporate or financial services environment.
- Strong expertise in SAFe Agile methodologies, including policies, practices, and market trends.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as MS Office, process modeling software, data analysis techniques, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Good understanding of SDLC, business systems integration, and process automation tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and emerging technologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL, data analytics, and business intelligence platforms.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or Six Sigma.
- Prior banking or financial institution experience.
