Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a BSA – Mobile Banking/ AIr and involves engaging with cutting-edge online and mobile banking front-end applications. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing, defining, and facilitating technical and business requirements, ensuring seamless system integration, and enhancing customer experience through innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, including creating use case activity diagrams that depict interactions between users and systems, while clearly differentiating from screen flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product owners, architects, developers, QA leads, and content specialists to develop comprehensive solutions.
- Facilitate requirement discussions and workshops to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- Work closely with QA teams to support testing efforts, utilizing QA tools and ensuring acceptance criteria are met.
- Understand and interpret business rules and their relation to system functionalities.
- Manage data flow, system integration points, and external system interactions.
- Contribute to the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, ensuring alignment with technical and business goals.
Desired Skill-Set
- A minimum of eight years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within a financial or banking environment.
- Proficient in using collaboration and project management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, MS Teams, and ALM for at least five years.
- Expert in developing and transforming use case activity diagrams into detailed user stories, scenarios, and acceptance criteria suitable for development and quality assurance.
- Demonstrated experience in mobile banking projects spanning at least two years.
- Exposure to AI-related projects for at least one year.
- Strong understanding of system interactions, data movement, and external integrations.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with an ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working within a banking or financial institution.
- Familiarity with CIBC systems or processes.
- CBAP certification or similar business analysis credentials.
