Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Systems Analyst – Process and Change Management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical operational initiatives within Retail Account Services, supporting overall change strategies, roadmaps, and successful implementation of both internal and partner-led projects. The role involves analyzing, enhancing, and documenting business processes to improve operational efficiency and client experience, all while working in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and research specialized information to recommend effective solutions for ongoing operational challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiency improvements, develop, and implement operational enhancements.
  • Provide consultative support by assessing the impact, feasibility, and effectiveness of proposed change initiatives, and present recommendations to senior management.
  • Create and deliver clear reports and presentations to keep leadership informed of project status, upcoming changes, and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines, work independently, and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including SMEs and leadership, to map current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes using Visio or BPMN, and facilitate workshops for change negotiations.
  • Support quality assurance, testing, and regulatory compliance activities, including document control and audit readiness, especially related to procedures such as SOPs and control design.
  • Assist with impact assessments, develop training materials, and facilitate change adoption across teams.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Proven experience in writing, version control, and deployment of SOPs, workflows, and audit documentation (e.g., SharePoint, Power Automate).
  • Strong facilitation skills for workshops with SMEs, knowledge of process mapping tools like Visio or BPMN, and stakeholder negotiation experience.
  • Experience with QA/testing procedures, control and process design, and regulatory compliance efforts (such as PCI or audit remediation).
  • Ability to produce impactful reports, impact assessments, and presentations tailored for management and end-users.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills to influence and drive change.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in MS Visio (BPMN), SharePoint (sites/wiki), Power Automate (approval flows), along with advanced Excel or Minitab for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, BPM program exposure, workshop facilitation techniques.
  • Experience in retail banking operations, particularly Retail Account Services, and knowledge of payments compliance such as PCI.
  • Knowledge of change management frameworks and governance practices.
  • Strong soft skills for working independently, prioritizing deliverables, and communicating effectively throughout organizational hierarchies.
