Business Analyst – Corporate Event Planner

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst – Corporate Event Planner. This position involves supporting event planning activities, assisting team members with executing corporate events, and contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with a leading event team, with potential for contract extension and permanent conversion based on performance.
Pay rate range (CAD): $54.84/hr – $65.81/hr
Responsibilities
- Support other event planners and assist with executing corporate events
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to coordinate event logistics
- Manage event timelines and ensure timely execution of tasks
- Organize and prepare event materials using advanced Excel skills
- Assist in planning employee engagement events and special functions
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for event activities
- Support on-site event setup and execution as needed
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal partners
Desired Skill-Set
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate event planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Advanced Excel skills—working with spreadsheets and organizing data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
Nice to Have
- CMP certification
- Experience with AI technology tools such as Copilot

- Job hopping or short-term contracts
- Wedding planning experience (not suitable for submission)
